Direct Audio Input Many BTE
(Behind-the-Ear) hearing aids come equipped with Direct Audio Input (DAI). Direct Audio Input
may help your hearing aids pick up desirable sounds, such as speech. All audio units, such as televisions
and radios, can be connected electronically with a cable connection or into a microphone directly to
a
loudspeaker. The audio input consists of electrical contacts to which a plug or audio shoe can be connected
to your Behind-the-Ear hearing aids. FM systems are also connected through the audio
input of hearing instruments.
